Tour of Umenoyado Brewery

Tour of Umenoyado Brewery

Founded in 1893. A local sake brewery has been operating for more than 130 years in an area southwest of the Nara Basin, at the foot of Mount Katsuragi and Mount Nijo. They opened a new brewery in July 2022 in Katsuragi, where they were founded to try their hand at making an even better sake. They also hold tours of the brewery for visitors. Watch the actual on-site brewing process through windows as the attending staff provide thorough explanations of the process. You will not only learn how it is made but also experience it firsthand through activities we have prepared, resulting in an enjoyable brewery tour unlike any other. Sample sake and liqueur at the end of the tour (We will prepare our original non-alcoholic beverages for minors and those who do not drink). Prior reservation is required
