Takano Shrine Autumn Festival
Takano-no Tenki-tenki
The festival in Takano area of Kyotango City features Shinto music and dancing where dancers shout “tenki tenki.” A group of dancers consists of; one who holds a Taiko drum, one who beats a Taiko drum, and four who play Sasara, a set of two types of sticks to sound a Japanese percussion instrument.
