Experience making a guinomi sake cup made with "Yamadanishiki," the king of sake rice
Kato City is a city of greenery and water that produces Yamadanishiki, a high-quality sake rice. This is a ceramics experience using the soil and straw from rice fields growing "Yamadanishiki" in a rich natural mountain environment, designated as Special District A. This location grows rice that is considered the pinnacle, even among "Yamadanishiki," the king of sake rice. Stop by to craft a rustic and cozy vessel made with the bounty of nature—glaze from plants and trees, clay from the mountains, and flames from firewood.
