[Let's Learn About the World Heritage Site and Kumano Faith !]
The museum is located at the bottom of Mt.Horai, which has been a place of faith since ancient times. Many mirrors and round copper plates with images of Buddhist deities,"Mishotai",were found in Mt.Horai. Parts of them are being displayed in the museum. These are wonderful objects showing Kumano faith and ancient beliefs.
