Yosamusume Brewery

Yosamusume Brewery

Yosamusume Brewery was founded in 1887 in Yosa District, on the Tango Peninsula in northern Kyoto Prefecture, overlooking the Sea of Japan. It is a family-run brewery that has been making sake for generations, with a focus on brewing sake with care. Now in the hands of the sixth generation, water used in this brewery is soft and clear water that has been naturally filtered through granite from the mountain behind the brewery. Yosamusume Brewery is committed to using the unique terroir of the Tango Peninsula to create sake that is both traditional Japanese sake and innovative. The brewery produces a variety of sake, including low-alcohol sake and fruit sake. At Yosamusume Brewery, experience the warm and welcoming side of Japanese sake brewing you’ll only find at a family-run business while you relax amongst the beautiful Tango Peninsula scenery surrounding the brewery.
