SAKAMOTO CABLE
This cable car, which opened in 1927, is the longest in Japan (2,025 meters). It connects the Cable Sakamoto Station and Cable Enryaku-ji Temple Station, providing 11-minute access between them. It is an 8-minute walk from Cable Enryaku-ji Temple Station to the World Heritage Site, Enryaku-ji Temple on Mt. Hiei.
