Nishinokyo Zuiki Mikoshi
On October 1, three Horen (sacred palanquins) leave Tenmangu Shrine for Otabisho (portable shrine resting place) where they are kept by the side of Zuiki Mikoshi (portable shrines made from vegetables) until October 4, when these palanquins return to the shrine.
