【Introduction, descriptions, and contents of activities】
You will experience digging Takenoko (bamboo shoots) by using a special tool, called "hori." Throughout the experience, you will learn about the unique "Kyoto Nanka Saibai" cultivation method and how to use "hori."

You may purchase up to 3 Takenokos (about 3kg) per adult and 2 Takenokos (about 2kg) per child as a souvenir.
2,000 yen per adult and 1,000 yen per child.

Maximum of about 30 people (reserved). The limit of people varies by day, and there is possible cancellation according to the growing condition of bamboo shoots.

Grade 4 or older. (Elementary school and middle school students must be accompanied by parents.)
Please note that 3rd grade students or younger may enter bamboo forest as visitors.
