Akadani Plum Grove Reiwaen
This well-known spot is the largest Japanese apricot (also known as plum blossom) area the prefectural government administers, occupying some 50,000 square meters. The varieties of the 4,000 trees here include oshuku, umeniuguisu, rinshu and koume. The best time to see the blossoms is from early February to early March, when you can join the many others who come to view the spectacle.
