Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine

Since long ago, worshippers have visited Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine to pray to the gods for safety at sea, ward off evil, and success in business. The shrine is home to numerous cultural assets, such as the stunning vermillion-colored arched bridge, as well as the Sumiyoshi-zukuri main hall, which is also a national treasure.
