Komori Shrine Cave
"30m cliffside was carved from andesite lava that flowed from a location near Mt. Hachibuse during the Pliocene Epoch after the formation of Sea of Japan. A large piece of bedrock forms the northern wall. The cave was formed after the collapse of soft rock at the base of the cliff leaving a space 20m wide, 4m high, and 7m deep (from the entrance).
