Gorogoro Teahouse and Gorogoro Water Spring

Gorogoro Teahouse and Gorogoro Water Spring

The Dorogawa region is a unique plateau where mineral-rich water bubbles up through the layers of granite and limestone that cover the area. The water collected in subterranean limestone caverns can be heard ""bubbling"" through the ground, hence the name of this spring. Three springs in the Dorogawa region, including the Rumbling Water Spring, were included on a list of 100 great mineral springs compiled by the Ministry of the Environment.
