
Taimadera Temple
Taimadera Temple was constructed during the Asuka period (552-644) and boasts a history of over 1,000 years. The temple grounds feature twin pagodas, two main halls, and several other temple structures with many artifacts like the statues of the bodhisattva Miroku and the Four Heavenly Kings that are registered as National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties respectively.
[Admission] Free for Temple Grounds; ¥500 for the Main and Lecture Halls; Entry to the pagodas requires a separate fee.
