Leaves from Kamikatsu are sold under the "Irodori" (lit. "colorful") brand. They have been recognized for their value by traditional Japanese restaurants across the country. Collect, ship, and sell seasonal leaves, flowers, and wild vegetables. This business model has attracted attention across the country for enabling senior citizens to use their computers and work filled with life. This program allows participants to learn about Kamikatsu's unique industries and enjoy coloring their meals with an irodori sense of art. (Highlights) - Learn about the industries in Kamikatsu from its "irodori" (colorful) leaves - A special hands-on program for hotel guests that includes the experience of harvesting and decorating with irodori leaves - A special dinner served in a "Yusan-bako", a small stack of lunch boxes with a carrying handle on top, traditional in Tokushima (To those considering a trip to Kamikatsu) Kamikatsu is a small town with a population of less than 1,500 people. In 2013, it became the first municipality in Japan to make a zero-waste declaration and aims to be a town where nothing is discarded. We only take those who want to experience Kamikatsu as it really is, learn and have a good time through their journeys and are responsible travelers.
