The SUKIYAKI Gastronomy Cycling-tour Taste Wagyu beef in the production areas and learn about Edo life stories

A cycling tour based on true local stories from the Edo period. Not only can you see the real satoyama landscapes and the way of life, but you can also experience the history and flood control efforts. The cycling tour concludes with a sukiyaki meal made with locally sourced ingredients at a 300-year-old traditional house. You can savor the elusive local delicacy, Tokusan Matsusaka Ushi, with detailed explanations to learn about the characteristics of this premium Japanese beef. Starting off by covering the history of commoners' struggles and incorporating the beautiful satoyama scenery, interactions with local farmers, and the highest-quality Japanese beef, this cycling tour offers a comprehensive experience. Discover Japanese beef and cuisine by retracing the history with your own feet. As an extra option, you can also visit an organic farm to enjoy discussions and hands-on harvesting.
