Farm-to-Table Matsusaka Beef Sukiyaki Experience at Local Farmer’s Inn

Farm-to-Table Matsusaka Beef Sukiyaki Experience at Local Farmer’s Inn

“Taikicho Nippon Ichi no Furusatomura” is a farmhouse inn converted from a traditional Japanese house in a traditional rural scenery. The inn is located in the southern part of Mie Prefecture. It offers a quiet rural atmosphere with green tea fields unfolding before your eyes. In the Nanaho area, where the farmhouse inn is located, there are many farmers who raise the highly prized specialty Matsusaka beef. It accounts for only 4% of the total Matsusaka beef. The area has a large number of cattle farmers who have mastered their craft, and the cattle farmers of Taikicho have won the top prize at the Matsusaka Beef Cattle Competition for four consecutive years. Aside from sukiyaki, the plan also provides the lavish but leisurely experience of collecting vegetables and mushrooms for sukiyaki and cooking organic rice from farmers with clean spring water using an old-fashioned kamado pot to eat sukiyaki. In addition to “food, agriculture and experience,” come and enjoy a relaxing time in the heart of Japan, where you can get a glimpse of traditional Japanese culture and rural life through interaction with the farmhouse inn.
