Iya Valley
The Iya valley cuts a sharp V-shaped gouge through the land. At the valley floor flow the emerald green waters of the Iya River. Viewing the river from the top of the valley is a dizzying experience. In the fall, the entire valley is blanketed in autumn leaves, from the riverbanks up to the tops of the mountains. Visitors traveling by car or bus can see the brilliant display from the road.
