Tsurugi-jinja Shrine

Tsurugi-jinja Shrine

This shrine's history dates back 1,800 years. The ancestors of the great 16th-century warlord Oda Nobunaga took their surname from the name of this area. Many come to Tsuruji Shrine in early January to make their first prayers of the New Year.
